Hope this email finds you well. I am writing to complaint that I had very bad experience in Metro Town ZARA store today. I went shopping today at the Zara store in Merton town. I saw a pink skirt that I really liked, especially since it was only $25.99. I decided to buy it and picked out a T-shirt in a matching color scheme to go with the skirt. While waiting to pay, I also chose a rose-scented perfume. But the cashier said the price of the skirt was $59.99 when checkout. I told him the price tag said $25.99. He said he needed the manager to handle it. When the manager arrived, they tore off the price tag and found a different price underneath. I told the manager that I saw the price as $25.99, not $59.99. The manager said, "I didn't say that was your cover the price tag," and suspected that I had switched the price tag myself. This made me feel very uncomfortable: instead of reflecting on their team's management and checking procedures, they doubted the customer. When I got home, I discovered a roughly 10cm white stripe on the front of the skirt. Can I understand this as the staff arbitrarily attaching the $25.99 price tag because the skirt has a defect? Please refer to the attached photos for details. Such arbitrary suspicion of customers, in my view, is neither professional nor free from racial bias.
